Rated 91 Points from Wine Enthusiast and 90 Points from James Suckling, the Chateau Saint Antoine 2016 is another terrific Bordeaux from the Aubert family. Right-Bank specialists, the Aubert's own five major properties and over six hundred acres of vines, which makes them one of the largest wine holders in Bordeaux. Amélie Aubert is the seventh generation of her family to take the reins, and she's made several of our favorites like the Chateau Hyot and the Chateau de Ribebon! The Chateau Saint Antoine is a blend of 70% Merlot with 30% Cabernet Franc from thirty-five year old vineyards, and once again the Aubert's utilize the services of famed consultant Michel Rolland to give this Bordeaux his signature punch. One of our last 2016's, don't miss this amazing value at the new low price of $13.99!
"This is a complex wine, rich in both tannins and dense fruit. It is concentrated, with juicy berry flavors and balanced acidity to go with the solid structure. Drink from 2022." The Wine Enthusiast, 91 Points
"A fresh and juicy red from this appellation with dark-berry, tobacco and wet-earth character. Medium body. Clean finish. Drink or hold." James Suckling, 90 Points
