One of our most popular Italian reds, the Casa In Collina Barbaresco is a stunning expression of Nebbiolo, full of alluring notes of red and black fruits, complemented by floral aromas. Known to be Barolo's less tannic and softer on the palate cousin, the Casa In Collina is sourced from the famed villages of Neive, Treiso and Alba. The 2016 was fermented with a lengthy stay on the skins followed by ageing in oak casks to produce an intensely red wine with slight hints of garnet, mouth-filling flavor with soft tannins, great elegance and an excellent finish.
"A more floral, fresher Barbaresco that shows bright blueberries, fresh herbs and fruit tea. Medium-bodied and fruity with a lithe backbone of tannins and a soft finish. A more reserved style. Drink now." James Suckling 91 Points
